Just ignore John - he is crabby today. Remember that a lot of times what is said only in print comes across a lot harsher than what was intended. I can understand that it probably was not a matter of begging for free gifts versus just wondering if there were any current incentives for joining. John is a big supporter of the hobby and I don't think any harm or offense was intended.
