I enjoy this board very much and it is great to deal directly with people instead of through Feebay. My Opinion is that the official posts on the board should be the done deal. I think that people who respond first should "win" whatever is being sold if it is being sold for a pre-determined amount. I have had a few instances where I have responded and posted only to be told that someone sent a private E-Mail and that I was out of luck. Why can't everyone just use the postings to determine who wins? Then everything is transparent and you know there is no funny-business of preferential treatment behind the scenes. You also know if an item is still available. If the posting is being used to sell - then I think the posted replies should be the contract to buy. It seems to me that it would be easier to understand what is going on. Just my opinion. Feel free to comment as I would love to hear what others think about this.
