I have not seen the thread you discussed but maybe one way to look at it is like what happens in many trades. Sometiemes in a trade you are going to come out way ahead (at least according to you) and other times you may think the other person is taking advantage of you but you do it anyway. You learn after many years that it all works out in the end.

Maybe the seller made a bad decision but it is entirely possible that it was not with an intent to cause harm. Sometimes people just make a wrong or dumb decision. I know I have and you may have done so in the past also. Like a lot of the arguements on this board sometiems you just have to ignore them and move on to the next, more enjoyable, deal. Does any of this make sense?
