I place added value on a piece from a certain collection if it has an emotional value for me. I have purchased pieces from various collections because the previous owner/collector was a friend or someone I respected. In some cases, I was willing to pay a premium even if the chip(s) were not in premium condition. So call me a softy. I'm still and always will be just a collector, not an investor.
