The graphics program must be able to read a TIFF file. Photoshop can do it. Ofoto (a common MAC scanner program) can also do it. I suspect that other graphics and/or scanner programs can do. To verify, fire up your program with an image. Then do a "SAVE AS". If you can select the Save As format as a TIFF then you are ready to go. Navigating to the "format" selection area should not be difficult. Usually you will see things like PICT, JPG, EPS, TIFF, etc. (No, "etc." is not an image format.)
