My view on the ccgtcc BoD moving the poker...

...tournament & auction days. A few have expressed their displeasure with that decision.

I feel that the day should never have been changed. The poker tournament has ALWAYS been on Thursday night. For the last 11 years everyone has been use to that day. I have no doubt that a lot of those making out their schedules for the week plan on having it on that night & then being able to do something else on Friday night. It might not fit into their schedule to move things around.

You should not change days for something that has been the same for 11 years, just to see if you can make a few extra dollars in the auction. Plus those use to having the auction on Friday night are now also up in the air if they plan things for Thursday night other than the poker tournament.

I think the ccgtcc BoD is doing a fantasic job overall. But, they dropped the ball on this decision as far as I am concerned. And keep in mind that this is from someone who does not really care what night either is held on. I no longer attend the auction & would play in the poker tournament on any night it was held.
