Hi Rich. I just thought the chip looked a little strange with a texture face rather than a smoothe polished face??? Also, you are right! If the chip were to be offered for coding today it would not qualify because of the Yellowstone ID. I am not sure if the chip was IDed when Dale wrote the book though.
