Thanks to everyone who provided some help with this chip. I didn't know sunlight could cause a chip to discolor in a perfect circle, but I now understand the center circle was applied as one complete circle insert that when damaged it changes the whole insert's color not the entire side of the chip.
Please be patient with me -- I will learn as I go. I guess that's what makes this hobby so interesting. You never know how much you expand your knowledge base about things you have never thought about before.
I am happy there are resources available to help collectors like myself to be a better collector. The chip cost less than $2, but the lesson learned is priceless! Thanks all.
