Two opinions are this is a sun-related discoloration on this chip. Well, the casino was only opened less than a year. And, I have rescanned it to show distinct differences from the gold colored ink and the outside white rim. If sun caused the center to discolor, how is it that everything is so perfect in the center and the rest of the chip not sunburned as well. The other side is pure white. The rim on the the gold side is pure white. Take another look.
