It's clear to me John, that a company who plans to force themselves onto the casino chip collecting hobby, by offering a very questionable grading/slabbing service; does some preliminary market research and says that 90% of those people they spoke to were favorable to their product... is misleading all of us. Obviously, they were talking to the wrong people. Obviously, they are reluctant to speak to any of the issues that have been raised on this bulletin board.... of which they admit to reading virtually every post. Their silence on the matter is deafening.

Mr. Taylor, who is supposed to be the V.P. in charge of "Customer Satisfaction", might want to consider finding another position in that company... as he certainly is not addressing any of the issues that have been raised here by potential customers. Maybe Mr. Taylor is only the V.P. in charge of the Coins Department?

Can you imagine an ICG chip customer having a legitimate problem and being referred to Customer Satisfaction Mr. Taylor for an explanation or resolution? This simple fact alone ought to be enough to be sending up red warning flags all over our hobby.... whether one is pro-slab or anti-slab.

John; Are you suggesting that there will NOT be any brand new cents, dimes, quarters, half dollars, Sacagawea dollars with 2000 dates that have been slabbed being offered for sale at the FUN convention .... or is it just "expensive" coins that get this treatment? Do you really think that common chips will NOT be candidates for grading/slabbing?

Here's another question that no one has brought up. How about sets of chips ... such as the recent Hard Rock up to the $100 .... all in one slab? Far-fetched? I don't think so.
