if you flip them over (from the bottom) the image stays face up on the reverse. It does not change that the edgemarks remain on the opposite edges. Originally, I picked up the second chip as a trader but when I went to scan them to see which I wanted to keep, I saw the differences in where the edgemarks fall. I considered that I might have the wrong sides of the chips lined up but either way you do it, the edgemarks are different.
