Here's the screen in Windows7 that lets you wake up a sleeping PC without requiring a logon with password. That's how I have mine set up.

Also, note that if your collection scans are just .jpg files, you don't need WORD to view them. Just set up your options to default viewing .jpg files as any graphics view program on your new pc. One that I use is the free program IRFANVIEW, available at this site:

Also, there is almost always a Microsoft picture viewer utility supplied with the computer. Just right click on a .jpg file and set the program you want to the the default to open JPG files when you click on them. You can then just page through the files in the folder you have your collection scans in. I have mine set up with a folder for each of my specialized collections, like NCV chips, $2.50 chips, Tokens, etc. That way you don't have to scan through all the pages of your entire collection to find the page with the chip you want to look at.
