He does not know why Bruce. He has already said that he does not know why.
From an earlier post:
I gotta tell you... this is one heck of a way to meet somebody... not a very pleasant beginning. Can we start all over?
I can relate to James' situation and yours as well... and I will admit that my earlier post with the intent to block everybody on James' list by adding them to mine was wrong. I am sorry for that post and I appologize to you and anybody I might have offended by that post. I hope that we can move forward in a more positive direction this morning.
The people I have listed on my BLOCKED BIDDERS list are obviousy people that I do not care to do business with again. I can not tell you what they did to deserve being blocked but I would not put them there for no reason or for some petty injustice. Once they are added to the list, ebay moves them in alphabetical order and like James, I do not keep a list. Many of them won and then would not pay up. The last person I added was hot on a chip with another bidder and the winning price was more than the value of the chip. I sent a SECOND CHANCE OFFER to the second highest bidder and he bought the chip too. The chip was an Antique Shamrock in pristine uncirculated condition. To my surprize, the second chance buyer gave me negative feedback. He said that I used schill bets to get the price up and then he tried to say the chip was fake! I asked him why he would not just send the chip back but it was obvious that he bought the chip just to give me negative feedback. I was flabergasted! I can not tell you the ID of that blocked bidder.
In the past I have had people contact me and ask me, "Why am I blocked from your auctions?" I can only tell them that I do not know why they are blocked because like James, I do not keep a list. I can only remember one time that I UNBLOCKED a bidder. He contacted me and said, "Whatever I did I am sorry. Could you please unblock me from your auctions because I really want to bid on one of your chips?" So I unblocked him... he made a "token" opening bid, lost the auction, and to my knowledge never came back again. Damage Done.
I have to tell you Bruce... I would unblock anybody from my list that asked me nice and said "Please" but like James, I would not unblock somebody that just because they demanded to know why they are on my list. I would be affraid that they might buy a $1 chip only to post negative feedback and I would have to block them again. This is an unfortunate situation that is going to be difficult to resolve. Good luck with that & sorry about the PROZAC & NUT comments. BTW you are not blocked from my auctions. Good to meet you sir.
