I want to tell you about the company Schiffer Publishing that published our book "The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide" 2nd Edition. Schiffer publishes probably more books than any other on the antiques & collectibles subject. They also have a catalog covering Military History, Arts & Crafts, & a Whitford Press health catalog. You wont beleive all the books that have been written on some items that you wouldnt even think of. The Fall 2000 catalog I have is 111 pages, must be 1,000 books. Most pages show 14 books per page. For new books there are larger pictures with just 2 books per page. We are shown there.

For those of you who have not yet seen our latest guide which came out in September. I urge you to get a copy. It is not as much to my benefit but to yours. Education is everything & through these pages a lot can be learned. Set aside pricing or grading if you'd like & just study the pictures. How do we learn when we are young children- through pictures first. The color pictures of over 1600 chips came out great! Many more different pictures were added that were not in the 1st edition. Learn the issues of order, the molds, casino opening & closing dates & so much more. We added even more old postcard pictures of casinos as well as small obscure clubs around Nevada & elsewhere of many that are no longer there.

Other additions are: As per request of many, COMMEMORATIVES & LIMITED EDITIONS for all of NEVADA. With Vegas seperated by other Nevada towns. I was able to complete this section, along with many hours of help by fellow collector/dealer Dave Harber. What a task. We are confident we listed nearly all, about 2,000 are listed all the way up through the Milleniums to many Superbowls. This can be your listing to use for all the chips to year 2,000. This works well as a check list with a mintage & a price for a chip Uncirculated. Only one page of chips is pictured with many of my favorites. All pictured are from my own collection.

RIVERBOATS. We even did the commemoratives here. We have broken the boats down by state & listed everything as the rest of the book with rarity ratings & price ranges.

This book is much heavier & has a great feel to it. It is a little larger format as well.
