One of my fortunate finds was getting a box of these chips --quite a few of them-- pictured below. The dealer who sold them to me made no claim about the chips, but he did say they were from Carroll's estate or belongings. See the mailing label below. It shows that Carroll was a Special Assistant Attorney General, and that he had offices in Ballston Spa NY, which is very close to Saratoga where the illegal clubs were. One of the chips (the green one) says "Piping Rock." There is no doubt that that one is a Saratoga chip. The Brook Club was nearby, so the yellow one is almost surely Saratoga, and probably the BC mongram one is also Saratoga's Brook Club.
