They would not have to relist the item. The title, description or details can be changed, modified by the seller at anytime. Easy to do...no muss, no fuss.

As for the existing bidders....a simple email to the could explain the details. In this situation, obviously the rarity is impoertant. we know more then 2-3 are known to exist (R-10). However, I personally believe that assuming there are not 300 of them out there, the present auction price is well within a decent value for the chip.
