Can someone help out a non-computer literate guy? My oldest laptop just died and I need something to replace it. I do not want to pay a lot of money and I won't be connecting to it via cell phone connection. I need something that will connect to WIFI so I can surf the internet, store enough photos to eliminate the need for me to print books (scans) of my collection every year for the convention and be usable as an ebook reader. Is a tablet of some sort practical or do I still need a laptop? I was planning on buying a color tablet this year for the convention anyway. The ebook thing is not critical but my wife really loves hers. Of course I need a color unit for the chip scans. Maybe I am better off with just an inexpensive color tablet and and inexpensive laptop. I just don't know. HELP!
