On my first ever trip to a casino, Harrah's-Shreveport, I bought the 5th Anniv. chip, w/ AJ Foyt, because I was a fan of AJ. It was after I picked up a few chips as cheap souvenirs on a business trip to Reno, that I noticed how special casino chips are. So I picked up more chips at the other casinos in Shreveport/Bossier City and Tunica. Looking for a way to display the chips that I had, I found the ChipBoard. I was so appreciative of the help that I received from the that I had to join the club. But it was after I joined the that I truly discovered the hobby. Being a true newby, I received so many chips from club members and from winning a Mike Skelton contest that tripled the size of my collection. Thus began the slippery slope of collecting chips, tokens, dice, playing cards, slot and key cards.
