As you all know Governor Christie signed a bill on Tuesday (February 1st) that began the phasing out of the Casino Control Commission as a state agency and the duties of the latter being transferred to the Division of Gaming Enforcement how will this affect the release of new chips in Atlantic City? Will the casinos still have to submit chips for approval before they can be used? and if so who will be responsible for this approval (I assume someone at the DGE) or is this one of the regulations that has been deregulated as part of the new law?
