I began collecting coins with my grandfather when I was 11 or 12. My parents took me to the Boardwalk Regency in Atlantic City for my 18th birthday. The dollar machines used the Anthony Dollar sized tokens. I hit a jackpot for $300 and pocketed a few of the tokens. As we were leaving, the chips with their colors and designs caught my attention. I bought a $1, $2,50 and $5 and I was hooked. I learned of the Atlantic City Chapter when visiting a shop on the Ocean One Pier. I went to my first Atlantic City meeting at Resorts and Archie convinced me to join the CC>CC.
