David; by you stating that you are "against" chip alteration/repair (and you made it clear as to why), does this suggest that CCGTCC members should not even attempt to alter/repair their chip(s); and that the CCGTCC does not condone the practice -- while it's understood there is currently no way for certain that any repaired/altered chip will be documented or disclosed in the future -- if some sort of recording measure is not set in place... sort of a measure that would somewhat help not to possibly mislead anyone now or in the future?
Jim, other than the practice of undisclosed repaired chips being "frowned upon," do you feel that there should be some sort of a measure set in place as I mentioned in my question to David? If so, what?
