I will trade the CLINT'S 25¢ chip for The Cove small key with picture ( 5 seem to exist), or the Cove rect. mold with picture (seems to be one so far found), or the other known CLINT chips that exist.
Why the Cove? Because Katelma & Portney place is full of attribution that this was definitely an Illegal place as they had lots more than card games going on here. It was Hollywood's playground while open. Why CLINT'S because it was the first newly found chip I came across when I started collecting.
I would rather trade chips as I am a hobbyist not a dealer. As a last resort if I can't make the trades I would think about selling them but this is a last resort.
The ones I found look brand new but no one knows why the color is odd. Speculation is either a bad dye job gone wrong after chips were received or stored improperly. Anyways the HS on here is golden as at last year's convention the CALI guys that looked at it said it was a real gold HS. Chips have sharp edges so I can only guess they never saw action. I have a blow up picture of them and the nicks you see have to be from transportation etc. The color of these are beige as a CALI collector named George cleaned the "coating" of and showed me the cleaned chip at last years convention.
I do not collect any other CALI chips but I would also consider an Illegal I do not have in trade. No UFC's please.
The scan is one that represents the batch I have as all are very very similar.
LMK I will be gone most of the afternoon but can return email later. I will trade up to 6 of these chips.
