I have just sent a replacement Ebay chip today as the one I sent in the middle of December hasn't arrived yet - it could have gone missing, but the buyer has been very patient but it could have gone missing so I have sent a replacement. Hopefully they will both arrive one day and one will get sent back, but it is certainly hit and miss at the moment - some I sent a couple of weeks ago arrived in the US in just 4 day!
