A little history on the Treasure Bay .25 chip. When the casino opened they had all $5 and higher games. Towards the "end" of the casino they opened a .25 craps game. Clay .25 chips were put on the games. Dealers from the other casinos were taking the chips home to practice with, and why not, they were good clay chips that were only .25 each. The casino then put on the "cheap" .25 plastic chips. I may be overstating when I say that they were only on the table for about a week. The casino then shut it's doors forever. I have been looking for one of the chips for quite some time, by placing adds in the local casino papers. Papers that every dealer in town reads while on break, and by talking to everyone that I know from dealers, floorpersons and pitbosses. I dug up the 8 that I have by talking to MANY non-collectors in the local area. I can't say for certian that there arn't more out there somewhere, but I can't find em. It was hard enough to find the ones that I have. Have a happy and safe holiday season.
