Defining what others may collect is difficult and dangerous to any group. I don't collect the slabbed chips. On the other hand if ther was one available at a price I felt resonable to me I would buy it. I would buy an item from a dealer that had slabbed chips, there is no infection possible. Does the slabbing make the chip more desirable? Not to me. I don't need snap cases, lucite holders, numbers carved into chips, or fancy bows tied on chips. I'm tried to quit collecting, not as easy as I thought. There have been suggestions in the past that people ban the collecting of Colorado chips because of the actions of one casino. Let free enterprise work. Feel free to object to slabbing, but who gets to kick out the offendering dealers? Have a nice day.
