They tried, without success, to get another major operator in to refurbish and run a hotel/casino, but it needed too much work. I played blackjack there and have chips in my collection that I obtained from live play!

My nephew was there when they imploded it and took many stills of the event. I have them somewhere although I'm not sure where!!
