Official US Casino Chip Price Guide 4th Edition notes that there were 200 $1 chips produced and that they are privately owned, but not as yet available to collectors. There is no mention of a $1 chip in the Banick Colorado Chip Guide.
Does anyone know if these really exist?
Who the "private owner" is?
Anyone have a scan of this chip?
