A test of a chip raised at one edge by three other chips. This is on an Epson V500 Photo scanner. There is still good detail in the surface texture about a third of the way across the Chipco. The image is 6x normal size.

I guess this shows the thickness of a plastic page shouldn't matter much with scanner focus, but there is a limit .
