....no fun when you cant breathe. My son was also diagnosed with Asthma at about his age. He is lucky in the respect that it is only triggered when he is sick and has no sports restrictions. He was having a real hard time for a while and kept winding up in the ER. Then the pediatrician found that his tonsils were diseased and making him sick and triggering the asthma. They took em out and he hardly got sick anymore so the asthma attacks were minimized. I'm no expert but if you find that he is getting sick a lot, you may want to check it out. The nebulizer is going to be a Godsend for a while but if you are using al buterol, be careful as it can increase the heart rate and make em a bit hyper.
