I have duplicates of some of the below chips. All of the chips were obtained by me from their respective casino tables. None of the casinos will sell chips from the cage. All South Korean casinos (except Kangwon Land Casino) require a foreign passport for entry.

Seven Luck COEX Casino first opened in Seoul on January 27, 2006. I obtained the 1st Issue chip from the tables in April 2006. In June 2006 I noticed the 1st Issue chips were removed from the tables. This is the 1st Issue chip that was on the tables for about five months:

This is a Seven Luck COEX Casino 2nd Issue chip and it’s the same on both sides. It has a blue “C” on the inlay:

Seven Luck LOTTE Hotel Casino opened in South Korea’s second largest city, Busan (also spelled Pusan) on June 23, 2006. Their 1st Issue chip has a green “L” on the inlay and is the same on both sides:

Paradise Casino is located in Busan and first opened in 1978. They do not have a 1,000 won chip. Instead they use a light-weight (aluminum?) token. The mint mark is RWM:

Olympos Casino was the first casino to open in South Korea in 1968. At one point it was called Paradise Casino Incheon. It was renamed Golden Gate Casino when it moved into the Hotel Hyatt Regency Incheon, on August 1, 2005. It is located next to Incheon International Airport. This is the 2nd Issue Golden Gate Casino chip and was put into play a couple of months ago. It’s the same on both sides:

Kangwon Land Casino first opened in 2000. It is the only casino in South Korea that allows its people to legally gamble and is located in a rural area about a four hour drive from the capital of Seoul. Outside the casino are numerous pawn shops with second-hand luxury cars for sale. vbg I visited here in 2006 and it was understandably crowded. All of its 50 blackjack tables were filled with no available seats. I stood at a Tai Sai table that I didn’t have a clue about betting. I bought in for chips and stood and watched while others bet. I walked away with the chips when no one noticed. I don’t know what issue these chips are but they are no longer on the tables today. It is well used, probably because of all the action:

`
Walker Hill Casino was the second casino to open in South Korea in 1968. At one point it was called Continental Club and also Continental Casino. The below three chips are currently used on the tables. I don’t know which issue they are. They are the same on both sides:

I will trade for or buy any South Korea casino chips I need. Email me with your scans or descriptions.

PayPal accepted; PayPal “Gift” appreciated! My PayPal address is the same as the one listed above.
