Many guest issues that arise in a casino can actually be handled by the casino instead of a gaming inspector? I work in the industry and in our state we have 2 agencies that oversee us for different reasons. They are rarely called for guest disputes, most gaming disputes can be handled by capable supervisors or managers, many times by reviewing video from surveillance.
I could see the removal of gaming inspectors from the gaming floor, of course with a process where a dispute can be escalated to a gaming inspector. I don't believe this will hurt the credibility of the gaming industry in Atlantic City.
