Lyle Okata showed me how to view the Modern Marvels TV episode on Coin Op Machines on-line. Here's a screen shot of a roulette game in "the old days". Don't those look like Flamingo chips... the ones without dollar signs on the "denomination"? Not very clear on the old film, and I'm sure the image is well compressed to view on the web, but here's what they look like.
