Those can't be compression molded chips. When you thermo compress the chips, the edge spots always squeeze into the base color of the chips, resulting in uneven lines. Also, there would be no no way to outline the the edge spot color with the thin layer of material, which those chips have. Can you post a picture of several of the same denomination together. I would be curious if the edge spots are consistantly placed with the hat and cane symbol. Another dead givaway.
