Vic,
Your statement "...Chip Guide maintainers are...attributing each submission to themselves" implies that those of us updating the guide are taking the submissions from other collectors, posting them on the Chipguide and then taking credit for the scans that others have submitted. With your post being a reply to Charles' post about all the Deadwood chips I recently added, I take your comments as directed towards myself because none of the 271 South Dakota chips I recently added to the Chipguide were attributed to you even though you had submitted several of the $1 chips through the Submission page on the Chipguide website. To clear-up your assumptions that I used your scans and took credit for them, I would like you to direct me to any of the Deadwood scans recently added to the guide that were your scans. I will help you out...do not waste your time because you will not find any. Considering the fact that I have published two editions of "A Guide to the Casino Chips of MI, MN, ND, SD & WI", I have a scan of nearly every chip issued in these five states already saved on my computer. The scans on my computer were already formatted for the Chipguide, so I choose to use them rather than formatting your scans. FYI...If I add a chip scan from you, you will get credit for it on the Chipguide.
