It is fascinating to see the evolutions in design from the Model A to the current production cars (plus concept cars along the way). They went from the look of a horse carriage (without the horse), boxy utility styles, rounded bulky. Then came the rocket age with less bulk and more fins, more and taller fins. Next more sleek and aerodynamic muscle cars. As the muscle cars faded the squared edges came back and cars got smaller. The designs reflect what the people found attractive at the time. People's attractions and concepts have sure changed over the years!
The 'baby-boomers' were/are responsible for huge changes as they grew up. Changes in design, appliances, markets, music, just to name a few. (they are also the cause of many problems too!- credit crunch, and made previously less accepted lifestyles commonplace -). The youth of all generations do the same, but not with the same impact the baby-boomers have enjoyed.
