I beleive the black and white pic is the earlier one- it shows the Apache Casino. The color postcard shows the Western Casino in the Apache Hotel- While the Apache HOTEL existed until Benny Binion opened the Horseshoe in 1951, Ive found that they leased out the ground floor to various casinos (Western, Eldorado, SS Rex etc) and just operated the hotel rooms.

Maybe the Apache folks can come back and re-open the current hotel while Terry Caudill runs the casino on the first floor?
