I was in Vegas last week so while I was there I figured I'd go downtown to the Fremont to try to get the new 25 cent chip. No luck at the cage so I walked up to the craps table and put down my pass line bet. The point was 10. I put a $3 come bet down hoping the shooter rolled a 5 or 9. Bam, he rolls a 5. My come bet goes to the 5 where I place a $3 odds bet knowing if it hit I'd win $7.50. After a few rolls the shooter rolls a 5 and the dealer promptly hands me a $5, two $1 chips and two 25 cent chips along with my original bet. With my objective complete, I figured I'd keep playing since the point wasn't made and no 7 out, I placed another come bet. The shooter rolls another 5 so I repeat my odds bet hoping to score 2 more 25 cent chips. After a few more rolls the shooter rolls another 5 and I'm ready to snatch up 2 more chips. Instead the dealer tells me to give him the two 25 cent chips and gives me a $5 and three $1 for my $7.50 win. If I had a gun I would have shot myself! Eventually I repeated the process and when I received the two 25 cent chips, I quit (up $23 and with two beautiful 25 cent chips).

These chips are tough to get, dealers will not sell them nor will the cage.
