... If it was a sample/prototype chip that the casino had made for them, and for whatever reason decided not to use, the chip probably should have been destroyed. The casino, I assume, didn't want the chip to make it back into circulation or back into play at the casino to where they would have to pay it out. Also, more than likely, the casino was looking for the person on the inside who "allowed" the chip to get out in the first place. In reality, the casino is being run by the mob and they believe that there is an informant or FBI agent on the inside marking chips with sensitive recording devices to monitor casino operations...
