Thanks very much for the info. Funny, as your comment came in I received an email form Mark Englebretson with the same references. I think he's sent out an email or two to the Barboot expert. ;)

I've seen an illustration of the layout for a Barboot table patent from 1979 and heard that the table in 1965 was very similar to the one in the patented design.

Seeing those more detailed layouts makes me think even more that what I have was for a much "quieter", possibly unlicensed version of the game. But until I get it into the hands of a few true gaming antiquities experts I can only theorize based upon my research.

Those styles of dice and the bow tie you posted are still on my "wish list". PLEASE keep me in mind if you every feel like letting them go. I do have some rare El Rey dice (unseen styles until I found them) and El Rey $4 comp vouchers I can offer as trades for such things. Pics are on my websites if interested.
