After 4 days and $280.00 worth of "doctor's bills", I finally got over the virus. Wow, what a hastle.

Gene, Tommy, Bill etc., thanx so much. All your advice on how to fix the virus was accurate. But as you surmised, I wasn't able to get into the W95.MTX fix tool file. Had to go to outside help. Had to take out Windows 98 plus everythink else and restalled everything I could.

I still don't know how I got infected as I only download e-mail messages from people I know. I have not used any floppy disk lately and have been faithful to my wife.

Needless to say I now have Norton Antivirus 2001 with automatic updates.

My biggest problem at this moment is that I lost all of my e-mail address plus all my back e-mails. So if anyone has tried to contact me within the past couple of days, please re-send the messages.

I know I owe some people responses and will try to do so if I can remember just who I owe what to and as soon as I can find an e-mail address for you.
