... "attributed to" doesn't mean it is or isn't, for that matter, from said casino or gambling establishment. The "attributed to" is simply the TCR's way of saying "were not sure" or "some people tells us that it is" and/or "some other people tell us that it is not". Nothing definitive either way. So why not just state the obvious and say "not conclusive" or "rumored to be" or "rumored not to be"?! Guides shouldn't deal in speculation, assumption, heresay, or conjecture - just the facts.
Yes, there are apparently several cases where some guides contradict each other and other cases where the guide is changed or updated in its next released edition. That, I believe, everyone can accept - guides being updated because research has found imperical evidence that gives a chip its actual origin or what gambling establishment the chip was actually used in.
