Thanks Jim! Every time I go to Vegas - strip, off strip, downtown, where ever, I feel like if I ain't a high roller I ain't #####. The Horseshoe is the only place there I've ever found single deck $2 blackjack. The attitude in Reno is to have fun, regardless of the size of your wad.

Every major city has crime, pockets of urban blight, panhandlers and people on the street with something to offer you don't want. I've been offered far more sex advertisements by pushy hawkers on the strip than anywhere in Reno.

Reno has a different feel, a different attitude from Vegas. That doesn't mean one is "better" than the other. I have no desire to degrade Vegas. I only say what I'm saying here in defense of what I see as a fun friendly place that can be materially damaged by all this bashing.
