No they were in my collection room with air/heat 70-72 F year round. The 1 side was on the bottom of the drawer. Almost looks like an acid or resin came out of the die and ate the wrapper.Corners of the 1 & 2 side are the worse, other sides do show golden color starting to do the same thing as 1&2 side but not as far along.
