I have live in Vegas for 30 years and just started collecting when the Stardust was closing. I was out here for 3 days and nights in 1970 and got a 1.00 chip to take home from almost every downtown casino and a few on the Strip like Caesars, sands, flamingo.....drilled a hole in a few for key chains and gave most away, after all they only cost a buck, no biggie
