Have you done a disc cleanup and disc defrag? They will immensely speed up a slow computer. You may also want to check the program delete function to see if you have a lot of garbage programs in your computer. If none of that works then you need to figure out how much RAM memory you have. Should be at least 2 Gig. especially if you have Vista or Win 7. If all else fails then do a hard drive complete reformat. You will lose everything but it will make your computer act like it was new.
