There are a variety of free programs which will allow you to resize and image (if the pixel size is too large), and/or to decrease the size and resolution (if the file size is too large).

I use and recommend IrfanView ( http://www.irfanview.com/ ), but many others will work as well.

Or send them to me and I'll shrink them for you if necessary.
