with your concern and with others who have the same problem. I have about 200 "unslabbed" coins and after attempting to value them and looking at buying coin, decided that collecting coin was not for me. If I were 30 years younger and thought that slabbing was the future of this collecting interest, I think I would be turned off as well. But I collect for the pleasure of fondling the little darlins and am not concerned with value (other than what it does to my purse <g>).
