I was showing my wife all the neat things I've learned on ChipBoard and ChipGuide, including the subtle, almost imperceptible differences between certain chips.
And while I was showing her an example of H&C vs. LCV... I noticed that two chips I owned that I thought were identical, were actually two slightly different versions.
So my question to everyone is this... How do you deal with this in your personal collections? Outside of a rarity/price scenario... how much importance do you place on these subtle differences? For example, lets say you collect $1 chips from a certain state, and one casino has a H&C, SCV and LCV of the same chip (or LOT/ROT). Do you go out of your way to seek out all the variations, or do you just collect one version and call it a day?
