Shown below is my tentative schedule for a trip to Europe in October. My step-daughter is having a baby and Nancy and I are going to Europe to visit her and see the new baby, etc. I will be in Europe for 17 days - Nancy is going to stay with her daughter, new baby and 2 year old grandson for 6 or 7 weeks. The daughter lives in Amsterdam, so any of the days below marked Netherlands I will be staying with the step-daughter.

The other days on the schedule I will be traveling by myself and staying in the cities shown below. I have done some preliminary searches. etc. I plan on getting a 15 day Euro Rail Pass and traveling exclusively by train from city to city.

My main objectives on the trip are to play roulette at the Grand old Casinos in Monte Carlo and Baden-Baden and pick up as many chips, slot cards, etc. as I can for by collection. Also I want to visit as many different countries as I can in my travels.

This is my first time in Europe and I am looking for suggestions for reasonable places to stay and things to see and do on the trip.

If any of you seasoned European travelers or European natives have any suggestions, ideas, etc. - please email me or post a response here on the board.
