I will have other stories about Brownie and Howard but will save them for another day. "Two Thumbs" is a literal moniker for Howard. He actually had two thumbs on one hand. He took several bullets one nigh while he was in his 80"s and survived.

Howard and Brownie were "Mr Poker" in N KY for most of their lives.
His favorite quip was "Another F*cking deuce" as he flipped his river card with the two thumbs.
